Fawn Parker is a Montreal-based writer originally from Toronto. In 2017 she was awarded the Irving Layton Award for Fiction for her story, "Wunderhorse II." She is co-founder of BAD NUDES Magazine and edits poetry for Hybrid Heaven Press. Her work has been featured in The Puritan, Plenitude, Joyland, and the Concordia Alumni Journal, among others. She is the author of Weak Spot (Anstruther, 2018) and Looking Good and Having a Good Time (Metatron, 2015). She holds an undergraduate degree in creative writing and English literature from Concordia University and is a current MA candidate at the University of Toronto in the field of creative writing.
